In order to achieve its mission, CAF needs the help of individual volunteers, private foundations and companies.
How can YOU be involved ?
You can be involved in the CAF team in many ways. First and foremost we need to raise funds in order to support further projects in India and the Democratic Republic of Congo. On one hand we need people who can contribute financially towards our projects by becoming CAF MEMBERS, and on the other hand we are looking for people who can contribute in terms of working hours to help us coordinate fundraising events and the daily administration of CAF. If you feel you are the missing link in the CAF team, please contact us as soon as possible.
What are the possible options?
- You can become a Member of CAF;
- You can become a volunteer and join the Brussels' CAF team;
- You can sponsor a family through our 'One Family One Charity' project;
- You can run for fun and save a child with the '20Km de Bruxelles'; or
- You can organise an event to raise funds for a CAF project.

Why do people, companies and foundations support CAF?
CAF supports micro-projects, which promote direct contact and personal relationships between donor and recipient. This assures that projects address each child's unique needs and are accountable for achieving the intended results.
CAF empowers communities to produce and sustain results. When beginning a project, CAF community advisory councils (CACs) help with project design, implementation, evaluation and quality improvement. Through these advisory councils, local community members assure that CAF projects are sustainable in real-world conditions.
CAF projects are cost-effective. Volunteer and financial contributions provide an extremely cost-effective way to help children escape poverty. Volunteers were responsible for all of CAF-Belgium's work and there is no paid staff, office lease or other such paid infrastructure. Thus, CAF funds serve children's needs directly, with negligible overhead.
