John Britto, Chair of CAF-Community Advisory Council, is the Executive Director of the Indian Institute of Development (IID) and has more than 20 years of experience in the field of social work in the region of Tamil Nadu. He has numerous diplomas in related fields from both Indian and European universities. He has a wonderful family: his wife Jothi, who is totally devoted to social work like her husband, his beautiful daughter Gren and his charming son Macwin, who are still completing their education
Antony Xavier, CAF Coordinator in India, was the Team Secretary for Children Education and Rehabilitation as well as for Women Development at the Rural Community Development Center in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. He obtained his bachelor degree in Business Administration in 2001 and already has a great experience in running projects aiming at helping children on a day-to-day basis. He is highly committed to improve the quality of life of children in India and has a thorough understanding of the current living standard and urgent needs in the Tamil Nadu Region.
CHILD TAMIL NADU, is a platform of 35 local NGO's which are all actively promoting the rights of the child. Established in 2000, this platform aims to develop a "Children’s Report" from which a "Children’s Charter" will be developed for the children in Tamil Nadu, India
